What the converter itself collects

Nothing. To be specific about what that means:

• Your images are not transmitted. Opening a file, converting it, resizing it and downloading the result all happen locally. You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and convert something — no request carries your file.
• No images are stored. Files live in the tab's memory only for as long as they are open. Closing or reloading the page discards them. Nothing is written to disk except the file you explicitly choose to download.
• No accounts, and no cookies of our own. There is nothing to sign up for. The converter sets no cookies, and uses no local storage, session storage or other browser storage — not even to remember your language, which is why it asks your browser each time.
• No analytics. The site runs no analytics or tracking script of its own, and does not build a profile of you.

Advertising

This site carries advertising, which is what pays for hosting it. Advertising is served by Google AdSense, a third party with its own data practices that we do not control. What that means in practice:

• Google and its partners may use cookies or similar device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and may themselves use cookies to do so.

Advertising never receives your images. It cannot: the ad is a separate frame on the page and has no access to the converter's memory, and the images are never sent anywhere in the first place.

Your choices

• You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google at Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
• You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Your browser can block or delete cookies. Doing so does not affect the converter, which does not use any.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time through the same prompt.

Server logs

Loading this page is an ordinary web request, and the host that serves it keeps the ordinary records of that — IP address, time, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. These are used to run and secure the site, not to identify you, and are not combined with anything from the converter, which sends nothing.

Children

This site is not directed at children and knowingly collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious on this page rather than announced elsewhere.
